Beaches Resorts is set to embark on an ambitious expansion with a nearly $1 billion investment to grow its family-friendly, all-inclusive offerings. The company, which has been a leader in the Caribbean vacation market since its founding in 1997, plans to double its resort footprint over the next five years. This strategic move aims to cater to the growing demand for multigenerational vacations and immersive family experiences, all within the idyllic settings of the Caribbean.

One of the key developments in this expansion is the launch of three new all-inclusive resorts in prime Caribbean destinations. The first of these is Beaches Barbados, scheduled to open later this year. Designed as a sister property to the well-established Sandals Barbados and Sandals Royal Barbados, this resort will place family fun at its heart. With 600 rooms available in various configurations, Beaches Barbados is set to offer a distinct “Bajan” style that pays homage to the local culture while providing modern comforts and world-class amenities. This unique blend of tradition and luxury is expected to attract families looking for an authentic yet upscale vacation experience.

In addition to Beaches Barbados, plans are underway for the transformation of an existing property into the Beaches Exuma resort. Located on a sprawling 500-acre site in the Out Islands, this resort will be converted from the Sandals Emerald Bay. With 249 rooms and suites, the new Beaches Exuma will feature an impressive lineup of 12 restaurants, ensuring a diverse culinary experience for guests. Moreover, visitors will enjoy complimentary access to the nearby Emerald Bay Golf Course, blending leisure with sports and recreation in a setting that exemplifies the natural beauty of the Caribbean. This development not only represents a transformation of an iconic property but also reinforces Beaches Resorts’ commitment to providing unparalleled vacation experiences.

The third new addition to the portfolio is the highly anticipated Beaches Runaway Bay in Jamaica. Strategically positioned between Ocho Rios and Montego Bay, this resort is designed to appeal to families seeking a blend of adventure, relaxation, and cultural immersion. With 400 suites and villas that range from intimate one-bedroom accommodations to expansive four-bedroom residences, Beaches Runaway Bay is tailored to meet the needs of various family sizes and preferences. Guests will also have access to the renowned Runaway Bay Golf Club, and the resort will feature a farm-to-table dining concept that highlights local produce and culinary traditions. The focus on locally sourced ingredients and sustainable practices further underscores the brand’s dedication to community and environmental responsibility.

Adam Stewart, Executive Chairman of Beaches Resorts, emphasized the company’s deep Caribbean roots and commitment to family values. He noted that the expansion strategy is built on understanding and meeting the evolving desires of their guests. In a world where families are increasingly prioritizing connection and shared experiences, Beaches Resorts is poised to exceed expectations by delivering innovative product offerings that create lasting memories. The brand’s new initiatives, including the upcoming Treasure Beach Village expansion at Beaches Turks and Caicos—which began accepting reservations and is set to open in March 2026—highlight its forward-thinking approach and dedication to excellence in the hospitality industry.

This comprehensive investment not only underscores Beaches Resorts’ vision for growth but also reinforces its position as a premier destination for family vacations in the Caribbean.
