Carnival Cruise Bans Guests After Onboard Brawl on Sunrise

Carnival Cruise Line has permanently banned several passengers following a violent brawl aboard the Carnival Sunrise earlier this month. The incident occurred on June 7, drawing widespread attention after a video surfaced on TikTok from user @hellokittyyx, capturing the altercation. The footage shows multiple guests engaged in a physical fight, while crew members and security struggled to control the situation. Chairs were seen being thrown as chaos erupted in a public area of the ship.
Carnival Cruise Line swiftly responded to the incident. A company spokesperson confirmed to USA Today that those involved in the fight would no longer be allowed to sail with the cruise line. The company emphasized its firm stance against onboard violence and disruptive behavior.
This is not an isolated case for Carnival. In April, 24 passengers were banned after a separate fight broke out while disembarking from the Carnival Jubilee. Similar incidents have led the cruise line to enforce lifetime bans on guests who violate its conduct policies.
Carnival operates under a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding violent or disruptive passenger conduct. According to the cruise line, ensuring the safety and security of guests, crew, destinations, and maritime operations remains a core company value. The cruise line reminds all passengers about expected behavior and safety protocols both before and during their voyages.
Carnival continues to prioritize a safe, respectful, and enjoyable environment for all travelers on board its fleet worldwide.
