Carnival Cruise Line Expands Bahamas Itineraries for 2026-27

Carnival Cruise Line is excited to announce the addition of more short trips to the Bahamas as part of its growing 2026-27 cruise season. This expansion aims to provide travelers with a wider variety of options for quick getaways from Florida to the stunning islands of the Bahamas.

As part of this initiative, Carnival is extending the schedules for Carnival Conquest from Miami, as well as Carnival Glory and Carnival Freedom from Port Canaveral. Guests can now choose from a range of additional 3-, 4-, and 5-day voyages to the Bahamas, perfect for those looking for a brief escape to paradise.

Fred Stein, Vice President of Itinerary Planning for Carnival Cruise Line, commented, “These itineraries build out a key part of our 2026-27 schedule because they represent that quintessential, quick Carnival getaway from Florida to The Bahamas.” He emphasized that these new sailings offer guests plenty of options to enjoy a vibrant vacation, complete with the exciting onboard activities Carnival is known for, along with visits to beautiful Bahamian ports, including the premier new destination, Celebration Key.

Carnival Conquest, sailing year-round from Miami, will feature 3-day weekend cruises to Celebration Key and 4-day voyages that may include additional stops at popular destinations like Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays. Furthermore, in January 2027, the ship will embark on an 11-day Southern Caribbean cruise, visiting breathtaking locations such as St. Thomas, Dominica, Grenada, Antigua, Barbados, and Celebration Key.

From Port Canaveral, Carnival Glory will host 3-day weekend cruises to Celebration Key, alongside 4-day itineraries that also include stops in Nassau, Princess Cays, or Half Moon Cay. Meanwhile, Carnival Freedom will provide 4-day long weekend cruises to Half Moon Cay and Celebration Key, along with 5-day voyages that include Nassau, with options for additional stops at Half Moon Cay or Princess Cays.

In addition to its Bahamas itineraries, Carnival Freedom will undertake two transatlantic voyages, featuring a 14-day journey from Port Canaveral to Barcelona and a 13-day return trip. The ship will also offer an 8-day round-trip Mediterranean cruise from Barcelona, allowing guests to explore captivating destinations in France, Italy, and Malta.
