Adolfo Perez, the senior vice president of global sales and trade marketing for Carnival Cruise Line, has announced his plans to retire after an illustrious 43-year career with the company. Perez began his journey with Carnival as a ticket agent in Miami while still in high school in 1982. Over the decades, his career evolved from entry-level responsibilities to influential leadership roles that helped shape the direction of one of the world’s leading cruise lines. His dedication, hard work, and passion for the travel industry have left an indelible mark on Carnival and the broader cruise and travel sector.
During his tenure, Perez held several key positions that showcased his versatility and commitment to excellence. Notably, he served as the vice president of Carnival’s contact center, where his leadership transformed customer interactions and support services. Later, he was instrumental in expanding Carnival’s global footprint by opening the London office as the vice president of Carnival UK & Ireland. In 2018, he was promoted to his current role, where he was tasked with energizing the sales and trade marketing teams and strengthening the company’s relationships with travel advisors and major travel retailers.
