This accomplishment paves the way for the ship’s highly anticipated debut in Galveston on December 23, 2023, marking a new chapter in Carnival’s history.

The sea trials of the Carnival Jubilee were meticulously executed by a team of skilled officers, technicians, and engineers. They rigorously tested the ship’s various systems, including its technical, mechanical, and navigational capabilities. This critical phase ensures that every aspect of the vessel meets the highest standards of safety and performance.

Captain Andrea Catalani, who leads the Carnival Jubilee team, expressed his satisfaction with the ship’s performance during the trials. “Our all-new Carnival Jubilee performed exceptionally well through each test. We are now eagerly preparing to welcome our guests from Galveston onto this magnificent new ship,” he stated.

Significantly, the Carnival Jubilee holds the distinction of being the first Carnival ship constructed in Germany. Scheduled for delivery by the renowned shipbuilder Meyer Werft in Papenburg on December 4, 2023, the ship proudly sports a Texas star on its bow, a tribute to its homeport of Galveston.

The design of the Carnival Jubilee is set to captivate guests with its sea-themed zones, offering a variety of dining and beverage experiences, including the novel Dr. Inks, Ph.D. Bar. Innovative technology and design elements will create immersive environments for guests, ranging from a sunny, pier-like boardwalk to an adventurous ocean-floor promenade.

As Carnival’s third ship to utilize a Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) propulsion system, the Jubilee is at the forefront of eco-friendly cruising. The ship is also home to exciting innovations, including the top-deck rollercoaster BOLT: The Ultimate Seacoaster, Guy’s Pig & Anchor Smokehouse, and Shaquille O’Neal’s Big Chicken restaurant, among other guest favorites.

Carnival Jubilee’s year-round itinerary will take guests to popular Caribbean destinations such as Cozumel and Costa Maya in Mexico, as well as Mahogany Bay in Roatan, offering a perfect blend of adventure, relaxation, and Carnival’s signature fun-filled atmosphere.
