Carnival Cruise Line has announced new year-round Bahamas itineraries aboard the Carnival Valor, which will begin homeporting in Mobile, Alabama, on May 15, 2027. The 2,980-passenger ship will offer six- to eight-day sailings featuring visits to Carnival’s private destinations RelaxAway, Half Moon Cay, and Celebration Key.

The Carnival Valor—currently sailing from New Orleans—will become the first Conquest-class ship to be based year-round in Mobile. Before its redeployment, the ship will wrap up its New Orleans schedule with a five-day cruise on May 1, followed by two four-day sailings on May 6 and May 20, 2027.

Until the Valor’s arrival, the Carnival Spirit will operate seasonally from Mobile between October 2026 and April 2027. Once homeported, the Carnival Valor will also offer two special 14-day “Carnival Journeys” cruises in September and November 2027, along with a seven-day Thanksgiving sailing on November 20 that includes stops in Key West, Nassau, and Celebration Key.

“Mobile has been an important part of the Carnival family, and we’re thrilled to bring back year-round cruising with our first-ever Conquest-class ship serving the market,” said Christine Duffy, President of Carnival Cruise Line. “This is a big win for our guests who love cruising close to home and for the community that has supported us for many years.”

In related deployment updates, Carnival Glory and Carnival Conquest will continue their three- and four-day itineraries from Port Canaveral, while Carnival Conquest will sail three- and five-day cruises from Miami. On November 1, 2027, the ship will embark on an 11-day Carnival Journeys voyage visiting Antigua, Barbados, Dominica, St. Thomas, and Celebration Key, followed by another extended itinerary on November 19 that includes St. Lucia, Guadeloupe, Martinique, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, and Celebration Key.
