Cat Aviation Phases Out Last Falcon 7X Jet

Cat Aviation, the Zurich-based operator, has officially retired the final Falcon 7X jet from its fleet, according to recent ch-aviation research. This significant move marks the end of an era for the airline’s long-standing association with the Falcon 7X series.
The aircraft in question, HB-JSS (msn 2), was a 16.8-year-old Dassault Aviation Falcon 7X configured to seat up to 13 passengers. The jet remained actively in service until September 2024, after which it was ferried to Geneva on October 7. In Geneva, the aircraft undertook two test flights—one on December 20 and another on January 22, 2025—before being officially deregistered.
With the retirement of HB-JSS, Cat Aviation has now phased out all four of its Falcon 7X jets. This decision follows a gradual process: the first Falcon 7X was retired in 2019, the second was phased out in early 2024 and subsequently transferred to Malta’s JetHouse, and the third exited Cat Aviation’s fleet in the latter half of 2024 to join Türkiye’s JetGlobe. The future for HB-JSS remains uncertain, as no immediate plans for its sale or redeployment have been announced.
