Catreus Removes Global 7500 from UK Fleet

Catreus AOC (VCG, London Gatwick) has retired its only Bombardier Global 7500, according to ch-aviation research.
The 1.5-year-old aircraft, registered as G-MIAP (msn 70148), was configured to carry up to 18 passengers. Catreus operated the ultra-long-range jet since it was new. Its final flight under Catreus took place on December 13, 2024, between London Biggin Hill and Guernsey. The aircraft was deregistered in the UK on December 17, 2024, and subsequently reregistered in Malta as 9H-MAX. It began operations under its new registration on December 19 with a flight to Malta International Airport. The identity of the new operator remains undisclosed.
With the Global 7500’s departure, Catreus now operates seven aircraft under its Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC). These include a recently added Challenger 3500, a Citation Jet 2+, a Citation M2, a Citation M2 Gen2, a Global 6000, a Global Express XRS, and a Phenom 300. The company also owns an additional Citation M2 Gen2, which is not operated under its AOC.
The retirement reflects a shift in fleet strategy for Catreus as it continues to provide private and business aviation services with a diverse range of jets.
