CBL Properties is diversifying uses, tenant base

CBL Properties is focusing on applying a suburban town center strategy at its malls, attracting a broad range of tenants and allowing for a variety of property uses. An example is Tennessee’s Hamilton Place mall, which features an Aloft Hotel, a Dave & Buster’s entertainment complex and the potential for office space on a former Sears site. “I see a bright future for the company and for the properties,” CEO Stephen Lebovitz says.
