CDC ends issuance of COVID-19-related travel health notices
The CDC announced that COVID-19 country travel health notices will no longer be issued as the number of countries reporting sufficient data decreases, making for less accurate assessments. Do Not Travel COVID-19 guidelines for an estimated 90 destinations globally were dropped by the CDC in April, but the agency said that Level 4 travel health notices would continue to be retained “for special circumstances” when the need arises for its use.
