Cebu Pacific has reached a major milestone with the arrival of its 100th aircraft, a brand-new Airbus A330neo, solidifying its position as the largest A330neo operator in the Asia-Pacific region. The widebody jet arrived in Manila on July 18, 2025, from Airbus’ facility in Toulouse, France, and is the 12th A330neo to join the Philippine low-cost carrier’s growing fleet.

This delivery marks the second of four A330neos expected to be added in 2025, with the first arriving on March 28. Cebu Pacific is set to receive seven aircraft this year as part of its ongoing fleet modernization and expansion efforts. The new A330neo is configured with 459 seats, optimized for high-density routes while offering fuel-efficient performance.

“Reaching 100 aircraft is more than a milestone — it reflects our unwavering commitment to make air travel accessible to more Filipinos,” said Cebu Pacific President and Chief Commercial Officer Xander Lao. “With a larger fleet, we’re able to operate more efficiently, enhance connectivity across the country and the region, and pass on the benefits of scale through even lower fares.”

The milestone comes as Cebu Pacific experiences continued growth in passenger traffic. The airline carried 2.2 million passengers in June 2025, up 7.9% from the same month in 2024. In the first half of 2025, the airline flew 13.9 million passengers, marking a 21% year-on-year increase from 11.5 million during the same period last year.

The A330neo’s versatility enables Cebu Pacific to serve both regional and long-haul destinations, especially high-demand sectors, while maintaining operational cost-efficiency. The aircraft’s extended range and fuel savings also support the carrier’s sustainability goals. Airbus’ latest-generation NEO aircraft are designed to burn up to 25% less fuel and emit fewer carbon emissions compared to previous models, along with reduced noise levels.

Cebu Pacific’s current fleet includes 12 A330s, 40 A320s, 26 A321s, and 22 ATR turboprops, offering the widest domestic and regional network coverage in the Philippines. With its 100th aircraft now in service, CEB is poised to continue leading the Philippine low-cost travel market and expand its footprint across Asia and beyond.
