Celebrity Cruises Begins Caribbean Sailings from Port Canaveral
Celebrity Cruises has officially launched sailings from Florida’s Port Canaveral, marking a significant expansion in its Caribbean offerings. On December 3, the Celebrity Equinox embarked on its inaugural voyage from the bustling port, where it will operate seven-night Caribbean cruises through April. The ship’s itineraries include visits to more than 15 destinations, such as the Bahamas, St. Maarten, Puerto Rico, and Belize.
A highlight of these voyages is a stop at Perfect Day at CocoCay, Royal Caribbean’s renowned private island destination, offering guests a blend of relaxation and adventure. This addition to Celebrity Cruises’ itineraries enhances its appeal for travelers seeking a luxurious Caribbean escape.
With Port Canaveral now part of Celebrity’s lineup, travelers have four Florida ports to choose from, alongside Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and Tampa. This expanded accessibility gives guests more flexibility when planning their Caribbean vacations.
Looking ahead, Celebrity Cruises plans to strengthen its presence at Port Canaveral. In the winter of 2025, the state-of-the-art Celebrity Apex will begin offering seven-night Caribbean departures from the port, further enhancing options for vacationers seeking top-tier cruising experiences.
