Celebrity Reveals Entertainment Lineup for Celebrity Xcel
elebrity Cruises has unveiled the entertainment lineup for its newest Edge Series ship, Celebrity Xcel, debuting in November. The vessel promises an immersive lineup of theater productions, interactive shows, live music, and dynamic nightlife experiences designed to elevate the cruise line’s world-class entertainment portfolio.
“Celebrity Xcel will further elevate Celebrity’s award-winning offering to create a world-class entertainment destination our guests are going to love,” said Lisa Lehr, vice president of entertainment for Celebrity Cruises. “With over 75 resident performers, guests will find unforgettable experiences and unexpected surprises at every turn.”
The main entertainment hub, The Theatre, will feature three brand-new production shows combining world-class singers, dancers, aerialists, and parkour performers with cutting-edge visual effects, including kinetic lighting, projection mapping, pyrotechnics, and a 110-foot curved kinetic LED screen.
The new shows include:
Mainstage – A high-energy live music concert inspired by the world’s greatest music festivals, featuring hits from top artists across the decades.
Between Takes – A glamorous 1920s Hollywood backlot production blending stunning vocals, choreography, and acrobatics.
Chapters – A poetic, visually stunning journey through nature, transformation, and self-discovery.
At The Club, guests can enjoy two interactive productions:
254 West, an ‘80s-style club experience with an afterparty vibe.
HOTEL, a comedic musical mystery with audience participation.
Beyond the stage, Celebrity Xcel will host live piano performances, country dance nights, candlelit concerts, and the return of the crowd-favorite Shine the Night deck party.
The ship’s Bazaar will transform into four rotating destination-inspired festivals—Carnival, Aqua, Viva, and Flora—celebrating the spirit of The Bahamas, Mexico, the Cayman Islands, and the Dominican Republic through themed performances, games, and activities.
Interactive entertainment expands further with new games such as High Stakes, an elimination-style game show; Brain Spin, a combination of trivia and strategy; and an escape room-style challenge where guests work together to bring a robot to life. There’s also a retro arcade, a destination mystery game, and Camp at Sea, featuring a digital game wall with 50+ titles for younger travelers.
Guests from Celebrity’s Xcel Dream Makers program also helped shape the ship’s entertainment lineup—selecting costumes for Chapters, choosing headline performers, and curating themes for key events like the Saddle Up Saloon dance party and Viva festival.
With its expansive lineup, Celebrity Xcel is set to redefine cruise entertainment—blending artistry, innovation, and audience interaction into a uniquely elevated experience at sea.
