Celestyal Confirms Arabian Gulf Season for 2025

Celestyal Cruises has reconfirmed its commitment to the Arabian Gulf, with Celestyal Journey and Celestyal Discovery both scheduled to return for the 2025-26 winter season following a successful maiden deployment.

The line has updated its repositioning itineraries originally planned as 14-night “Ancient Athens to Amazing Abu Dhabi” sailings. Instead, Celestyal will now operate two new seven-night voyages from Athens to Jeddah. Celestyal Journey will depart November 22, 2025, calling at Marmaris, Turkey, and three Egyptian ports before concluding in Jeddah. Celestyal Discovery will sail November 28, 2025, calling at Kusadasi, Turkey, and two Egyptian ports before also ending in Jeddah. Six-night segments will be available from the Turkish ports.

While most guests will see little impact, some itineraries will include revised port calls or slightly shorter durations. Travel partners have been assured that commissions remain protected, with updated rebooking options provided.

Following the repositioning sailings, both ships will continue from Jeddah to Abu Dhabi to begin the Gulf season. Celestyal Journey launches on December 6, 2025, with a special Abu Dhabi Grand Prix cruise before transitioning to the seven-night “Desert Days” itinerary. Celestyal Discovery will debut on December 12, 2025, with its inaugural Arabian Gulf season, offering three-, four-, and seven-night “Iconic Arabia” voyages.

“These refinements give us great confidence as we return stronger to the Arabian Gulf with two ships and expanded capacity,” said John Diorio, Celestyal’s managing director for North America. “We expect this to be one of our strongest seasons yet.”
