Celestyal Discovery: A New Addition to the Celestyal Fleet Set to Debut in March 2024

Celestyal Cruises, renowned for its immersive Greek Isles and Mediterranean experiences, is set to enhance its fleet with the introduction of the Celestyal Discovery, slated to debut in March 2024. This strategic acquisition is part of the cruise line’s ongoing commitment to fleet modernization and providing an elevated guest experience.

The Celestyal Discovery, originally built in 2003 and formerly part of the AIDA Cruise brand under Carnival Corporation, is undergoing significant remodeling to align with Celestyal’s standards of comfort and style. The vessel boasts 633 staterooms, including 62 with balconies, and has a guest capacity of up to 1,266. This addition follows the successful debut of the Celestyal Journey, which also underwent extensive refurbishment before joining the fleet in September.

In 2024, Celestyal Discovery will replace Celestyal Olympia in the cruise line’s program. Itineraries and sailings for the new ship will be available for booking starting December 11, 2023. Guests who have previously booked with Celestyal Olympia will be conveniently transferred to the new sailings aboard Celestyal Discovery.

These include an amphitheater, the Grillseekers specialty restaurant, Sozo wellness retreat, a spacious pool deck, the Greek Deli, and the Fig and Honey gelato and juice bar.
