Celestyal, a leader in cruises to the Greek Islands and beyond, is bolstering its commitment to the North American market with significant expansions and strategic enhancements to its trade team. Recognizing the critical role of travel advisors in its growth strategy, Celestyal has welcomed four new members to its North American trade team, increasing the team’s size to 11. The expansion is part of a broader effort that includes ongoing recruitment to further strengthen the team.

The cruise line has restructured its sales and marketing department in North America, creating new functional roles and promoting existing team members to better align with the needs of its travel advisor partners. This move aims to enhance Celestyal’s service offerings and support to this crucial segment.

Joining the team are Elena Rodriquez as Director of Business Development, Scott Moore as Director of Key Accounts and Partnerships, Taylor Hendwood as Business Development Manager for the Southeast, and Lauren Barreras as Trade Marketing Manager. These professionals bring a wealth of experience and proven track records from their previous roles in the industry, poised to drive Celestyal’s growth and deepen its relationships with travel advisors across North America.

Rodriquez, transitioning from Princess Cruises, brings extensive experience in managing national accounts and will lead efforts in business development and sales support. Moore, formerly with American Queen Voyages, will focus on managing and expanding key partnerships. Hendwood joins from a background that includes roles at American Queen Voyages, Princess Cruise Line, and Norwegian Cruise Line, tasked with driving revenue growth in the Southeast U.S. Barreras, with her experience at Oceania Cruises and involvement in launching Crystal River Cruises, will enhance trade marketing efforts and brand awareness.

These additions report to Brandon Townsley, Vice President & Managing Director, North America, who expressed excitement about leveraging their retail cruise expertise and established relationships to serve travel advisor partners more effectively.

Further strengthening its team, Celestyal has announced promotions within its ranks. Cyndi Berardi is now Manager of Trade Support and Operations, Sandra Jakovac has been appointed Manager of Group Sales and Administration, and Stephanie McDonald steps into the role of Manager, Partner Training & Development. These promotions reflect Celestyal’s dedication to providing exceptional support and resources to its travel advisor partners, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to successfully sell Celestyal cruises.

These strategic enhancements to Celestyal’s North American team underscore the cruise line’s commitment to the travel advisor community and its ambition to expand its footprint in the market. With a refreshed fleet, exciting new itineraries, and a strengthened team, Celestyal is poised for a year of growth and success in serving both its partners and travelers looking to explore the Greek Islands and other spectacular destinations.
