CEOs foresee historic hotel revenues in pandemic shadow
Resumption of international travel to the US and rising business bookings herald a strong 2022 for the hotel industry in the view of top chain executives convening this week, two of whom predict record revenues. “I still think we’re underestimating what’s going to happen next year. Group meetings have sort of been pushed back because of the Delta variant … but the demand and the inquiry is off the charts,” Hilton Hotels CEO Christopher Nassetta declared at NYU’s 43rd Annual International Hospitality Investment Conference.
