Chartright Air Adds G280 to Fleet for Charter Operations

Chartright Air, based at Toronto Pearson, expanded its fleet in December 2024 by adding its first Gulfstream G280 to its charter operations. The 11.7-year-old aircraft, registered as C-FVPB (msn 2024), is configured to seat up to nine passengers, further strengthening Chartright’s capabilities in the business aviation market.
Previously operated by Executive Jet Management in the United States under the registration N459BN, the aircraft was not listed under the company’s Part 135 certificate, which includes five G280 units. The jet was last active under the ‘EJM’ code on November 1, 2024, flying between Fort Worth Meacham and Phoenix Williams Gateway. However, it was deregistered in the United States on December 9, 2024, and reregistered in Canada under Chartright Air’s banner just three days later. The G280 made its first flight under the ‘HRT’ code on December 20, 2024, operating to Toronto Pearson.
Chartright Air now adds the G280 to its fleet of Gulfstream Aerospace aircraft, which includes three G200s and one G450. The G280 is currently listed under the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CAR) 604 for private operations only, with no plans for Part 135 certification at this time.
The addition of the G280 is part of Chartright Air’s ongoing expansion. The company operates a fleet of 42 aircraft, including models from Bombardier Business Aircraft, Dassault Aviation, and Textron Aviation. Recent additions to its fleet also include the Challenger 3500 and Falcon 2000LXS, enhancing its diverse offerings for charter customers.
With its new G280, Chartright continues to provide reliable, flexible, and luxurious charter services, meeting the growing demand for high-end business aviation in Canada. The G280’s addition reflects the company’s commitment to offering its clients a broader range of options, providing fast, comfortable, and convenient travel across Canada and beyond.
Chartright’s expanded fleet strengthens its position as a prominent player in the private jet charter market, catering to clients who require top-notch service and aircraft for both business and leisure. The company’s focus on maintaining a diverse fleet ensures that customers can access the most suitable aircraft for their travel needs, with a range of Gulfstream, Bombardier, and Dassault aircraft available.
As Chartright Air’s fleet continues to grow, its latest addition, the G280, highlights the company’s commitment to delivering high-quality, dependable services to its clients. With the addition of this aircraft, Chartright is well-positioned to meet the needs of discerning travelers seeking seamless, luxury travel experiences.
