The once-prominent W Hotel in Vieques, Puerto Rico, closed since Hurricane Maria struck in 2017, has been purchased by cryptocurrency billionaire and former child movie actor Brock Pierce for $18.3 million. The star of 1992’s “Mighty Ducks” says he plans to restore the heavily damaged property.
