China’s SF Airlines 70th aircraft goes into air cargo service

Fast-expanding freighter operator SF Airlines has put its 70th aircraft into action. The China-based airline put its 70th freighter – a Boeing 767-300 – into flight operation on April 29 between Shenzhen and Beijing.

“The established cargo route network serves the transportation of domestic and foreign epidemic prevention materials, facilitates the circulation of materials for resumption of work and production, and ensures the turnover and supply of materials for people’s livelihood. played a positive role,” the carrier said.

In total, the carrier operates 14 Boeing 767s which have a capacity of around 55 tons and are utilised on flights to South Asia and Southeast Asia.

The carrier took delivery of its 69th freighter in February. Last year SF Airlines added a total of seven freighters to its fleet.

The airline is also jointly developing a huge 2.4m tonne capacity cargo airport in Ezhou, which will connect its regional and international services covering Asia Pacific, Europe and the US.

The Shenzhen-headquartered airline is a branch of Chinese express delivery firm SF Express and is the largest operator of all-cargo aircraft in China.
