China’s uneven recovery good enough for hotel boom

Hotel development in China is proceeding apace despite a bump in the nation’s pandemic recovery road caused by a winter resurgence of coronavirus cases. Nearly 414,000 rooms are under construction, a 2% increase over the third quarter, with Hilton Hotels, InterContinental Hotels Group and Marriott International leading the way.
