CitizenM forges ahead with $1B in new funding

Dutch hospitality firm CitizenM has raised $1 billion from current investors and says it plans to use half the money to add hotels to its portfolio. The rest of the capital will go toward finishing ongoing developments and covering losses due to the pandemic as the company cautiously embraces an industry rebound, CEO Klaas van Lookeren Campagne said.
