Club Med, the pioneer of the all-inclusive resort concept, is celebrating its 75th anniversary with major global expansions, resort openings, and luxury renovations across multiple continents.

In 2025, the company is accelerating growth with new ski resorts planned for Canada and Italy, while unveiling extensive upgrades at its flagship Club Med Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic. The Punta Cana renovation includes redesigned social spaces, enhanced dining experiences, and newly refreshed accommodations by GG&Grace International. The resort’s highlights include the serene Costa del Coco Deluxe Rooms, the panoramic Buena Vista Lounge, a reimagined El Mundo Food Club showcasing five global cuisines, and the tropical-inspired Joia Bar and Coffee Shop.

Looking ahead, Club Med South Africa Beach & Safari Resort will debut in 2026 on the Dolphin Coast near Durban — marking the brand’s first property in South Africa. The 411-room resort will feature Club Med’s first-ever Surf School, safari experiences, and an exclusive 80-room lodge in the nearby Hluhluwe Game Reserve. The property will also emphasize sustainability, aiming for Green Globe certification and a 4-star Green Star rating.

Club Med continues to report strong performance globally, with its mountain resorts seeing a 7 percent increase in business volume and its luxury Exclusive Collection reporting a 6 percent rise in ADR. With 1.5 million guests visiting in 2024 and 75 percent coming from international markets, Club Med’s 75th anniversary marks not just a milestone in history but a confident step into the future of luxury travel.
