Club Med Debuts Family Oasis at Phuket
All-inclusive leader Club Med has opened its first Family Oasis in the Asia-Pacific region at Club Med Phuket on April 6, 2025. The new Lai Thai Family Oasis invites multi-generational travelers to connect, play and relax in a tropical sanctuary inspired by Thailand’s ornate art motifs and designed specifically to foster family bonding.
Inspired by the intricate Lai Thai motif that celebrates Thailand’s cultural heritage, the Oasis features décor that evokes a serene yet playful atmosphere. Warm earth tones, abstract planetary art and fluid curves create a sun-drenched lobby reminiscent of a landing pad on a distant shore, setting the tone for adventures and tranquil moments alike.
At the heart of the Family Oasis lies a dynamic Splash Park where younger guests can race down colorful slides, tip spray buckets and launch water canons under safe supervision. Surrounding lounge chairs and a convenient snack bar ensure parents can unwind poolside while children explore engaging water features crafted to delight every age.
The Oasis introduced 32 new family accommodations, including 24 Family Superior rooms and eight themed suites with mobility access. Each 315-square-foot unit hosts two adults and two children plus an infant. Ground-floor rooms open directly onto the Splash Park terraces, while upper-level suites boast private balconies with vibrant park views.
Family-themed suites use banyan tree motifs and forest-inspired color schemes to spark children’s imaginations. Earlier renovations at Club Med Phuket refreshed the main pool, restaurant, bar and meeting rooms, completing the first phase in December 2024. The resort now features three distinct zones: the Family Oasis for interactive fun, a serene Zen Area for quiet relaxation and the Heart of the Resort with nightly shows and central dining.
In the Zen Area, adult guests unwind amid lush gardens, yoga pavilions and spa treatments in tranquil surroundings. The Heart of the Resort buzzes after sunset with live shows in the theatre, social gatherings at the main bar and access to the restaurant serving both local and international cuisine just steps from the lobby.
Beyond the Oasis, Club Med Phuket offers activities from high-adrenaline archery to guided cultural excursions highlighting Thai traditions. The celebrated Kids Club welcomes children from four months to 17 years old, with dedicated G.O.s supervising enriching programs from circus arts to environmental workshops.
