Club Med, the pioneer of the all-inclusive vacation experience, has announced exciting new developments across its international portfolio. Key updates include the introduction of Club Med’s first resort in the Gulf States, extensive renovations at Club Med Cancun and Club Med Punta Cana, a new yoga partnership with Jonah Kest, and notable achievements in corporate social responsibility (CSR).

Club Med Cancun Renovations

Club Med Cancun is set for a major transformation over the next year. The main pool area will be upgraded to an expansive infinity pool that borders a picturesque natural lagoon, complemented by a new beach and pool bar just steps from the sand.

The renovations will also see select Deluxe Rooms near the beach bar and Sports & Wellness Island receiving a sophisticated redesign that blends Mayan cultural elements with contemporary furnishings and private balconies offering serene sea and lagoon views. These updates are slated for completion by July 2025.

Additionally, the Family Oasis will feature new attractions including a Mayan-themed Splash Park, Water Park, Mini Pool, Playground, Fun Zone, and Mini Cinema. The Children’s Club will be relocated to be adjacent to the Aguamarina family oceanfront rooms, and a new Baby Club Med will be introduced.

Club Med Punta Cana Renovations

Club Med Punta Cana, North America’s flagship family resort, will unveil a new splash park in December 2024, featuring exhilarating water slides, splash zones, and interactive water features. Guests will also have access to over 20 activities, including trapeze, kayaking, and pickleball.

Recent property upgrades at Punta Cana include newly designed family rooms, a wedding venue, a beauty salon, and an enhanced dining experience at the Caribbean restaurant Hispaniola.

Club Med Musandam Oman Opening

In 2028, Club Med will open its first Gulf States resort, Club Med Musandam. This luxurious 300-room Exclusive Collection resort will offer stunning views of the Persian Gulf and Hajar Mountains. The resort will integrate Omani culture into its design, entertainment, and dining options. Guests will enjoy gourmet dining, children’s clubs, wellness experiences, an adults-only area, a spa, and a wide range of land and water sports.

Yoga Partnership with Jonah Kest

Club Med has partnered with acclaimed yoga instructor Jonah Kest as the Yoga Ambassador for its North American and Caribbean resorts. Kest, known for his impactful classes and collaborations with brands like Nike and Netflix, will develop guest yoga programs, conduct in-person classes at select resorts, and lead transformative wellness workshops.
