Colorful Guizhou Airlines Seeks C909 and A320 Pilots for Fleet Expansion

Colorful Guizhou Airlines, a burgeoning carrier based in Guiyang, China, is actively expanding its team by recruiting pilots for its upcoming fleet additions. As the airline prepares for the induction of the C909 aircraft later this year, it has opened positions for pilots experienced with both the C909 and the Airbus A320. This recruitment drive, announced on February 19, aims to bolster the airline’s operational capabilities in anticipation of its growing fleet.

The airline is looking to fill 23 pilot positions, targeting individuals who either have accumulated 500 or more hours on the A320 or C909 aircraft or have logged at least 800 hours as pilot-in-command on other types of aircraft. Currently, Colorful Guizhou Airlines operates a diverse fleet that includes ten Airbus A320-200Ns, with two more expected to join shortly, and nine Embraer E190s. This fleet supports the airline’s extensive domestic network, which encompasses 49 airports across China. Furthermore, the airline has recently extended its reach beyond domestic borders by initiating flights to Hanoi Noi Bai International in Vietnam last August.
