Margaritaville has revealed plans to extend its Compass by Margaritaville collection, introducing a series of boutique hotels in prime U.S. locations, including the recently inaugurated Compass Hotel by Margaritaville Naples along the scenic Gulf Coast of Florida. This expansion underscores the brand’s initiative to blend unique boutique accommodations with Margaritaville’s signature laid-back luxury.

Following the brand’s initial conversion project in Naples, which transformed a former Staybridge Suites into an all-suite property, Margaritaville is gearing up to launch new Compass hotels in Beaufort, North Carolina; Pigeon Forge, Tennessee; North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; and Flagler Beach, Florida, among other locations.

Scheduled to break ground in May 2024, the Beaufort hotel will boast 105 rooms in the heart of the historic downtown area, overlooking the Beaufort Yacht Basin. Highlights include the poolside 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill, Welcome Cabana, and Marina Store, promising a vibrant blend of leisure and marine life.

The Pigeon Forge property is set to welcome guests by fall 2024, nestled in the Smoky Mountains. This 162-room hotel will offer an array of amenities, including both indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, a terrace bar, and the signature 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill, catering to adventurers and relaxation seekers alike.

In North Myrtle Beach, plans are underway for a groundbreaking later this year for a hotel featuring over 150 beachfront rooms, enhanced pool experiences, fitness and meeting spaces, and dining options including the 5 o’Clock Somewhere Bar & Grill and a complimentary breakfast buffet.

Looking ahead to early 2025, the Flagler Beach hotel is poised to open with 100 guestrooms, offering the Salty Rim Restaurant with a rooftop bar, an outdoor pool, fitness center, and more, promising guests a quintessential beach getaway.

Rick Cunningham, Senior Vice President of Development for Margaritaville, expressed enthusiasm about the brand’s growth, stating, “With 10 additional projects in the pipeline, the expansion of Compass Hotels marks a significant achievement for Margaritaville.” He emphasized the brand’s commitment to delivering exceptional boutique hotel experiences in sought-after destinations, complemented by outstanding guest services and amenities.

This expansion not only extends Compass by Margaritaville’s footprint across the United States but also reinforces the brand’s dedication to offering casual luxury accommodations in smaller leisure markets, reflecting Margaritaville’s core values of comfort, convenience, and a unique guest experience.

Currently, Compass by Margaritaville boasts locations in Florida and Oregon, including the Compass Hotel Anna Maria Sound in Bradenton and the Compass Hotel Medford, further enriching the brand’s diverse portfolio and appealing to travelers seeking distinctive, high-quality lodging options.
