Condor Expands Long-Haul Fleet With More A330neos

Condor, the German-based leisure airline, has announced an order for four additional Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, reinforcing its commitment to long-haul operations. The order, approved by the airline’s Supervisory Board earlier this week, was officially confirmed in a statement released on July 17, 2025. With the latest purchase, Condor’s A330neo fleet is set to grow to 25 aircraft by 2031.

The airline is aligning its fleet expansion with a strategy focused on international growth and operational consistency. Condor CEO Peter Gerber emphasized the importance of this move, stating that the new aircraft will help unlock more international opportunities and continue the airline’s trajectory of successful expansion in recent years. He also noted that, for the first time in summer 2025, Condor’s entire long-haul schedule will be served with a standardized product offering across all routes.

Condor currently operates 18 A330-900neo aircraft and expects to add three more by the end of 2027. These widebody jets are known for their fuel efficiency, advanced cabin comfort, and modern technology. The airline has also secured an option for four additional A330neos, although no final decision has been made regarding those.

Gerber highlighted that customer satisfaction and operational reliability have been consistently positive since the A330neo fleet was introduced. The transition to a fully A330neo long-haul operation began with the airline’s fleet renewal completed in 2024. Since then, Condor’s long-haul passengers have benefited from a more comfortable experience, including increased personal space, in-flight connectivity, and complimentary entertainment.

In addition to enhancing its long-haul capabilities, Condor is also strengthening its European connectivity through expanded city flight offerings. These routes are strategically designed to feed into Condor’s long-haul network, offering travelers seamless travel options across Europe and beyond.

With this latest investment, Condor is positioning itself as a major player in the European leisure travel sector, focused on delivering a consistent, high-quality product across its growing international network.
