Construction begins on Neb.’s WarHorse Casino resort

A groundbreaking ceremony took place for WarHorse Casino in Lincoln, Neb., a partnership between the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska and the Nebraska Horsemen’s Benevolent and Protective Association, with construction expected to take about 18 months. The $200 million venue, which will open up in stages, will feature a casino, horse racing track, restaurants and a hotel.
