Construction begins on Pittsburgh airport terminal

Contractors are installing barricades and have closed a taxiway as construction kicks off on a $1.39 billion, 700,000-square-foot terminal at Pittsburgh International Airport. The project, which had been delayed because of the pandemic, features a parking garage, public health and safety features, and a consolidated area for ticketing, security and baggage claim.
