A recent study from Technomic reveals that consumers are ready to wield their purchasing power behind restaurants that align with their own social values, as it pertains to diversity, equity and inclusion. “We can see year-over-year across generations, significant increases in the number of consumers that say this idea of social responsibility it’s important when I’m deciding where to go,” says Director of Consumer Insights Robert Byrne.
