Founded in 2014, IDnow provides identity verification solutions powered by artificial intelligence, serving industries including travel, financial services, and mobility. The company has collaborated with key players such as the International Air Transport Association (IATA), Hahn Air, and Sixt to streamline check-in processes, enhance fraud prevention, and simplify car rental verification.

“Over the past decade, IDnow has established itself as a leader in identity verification in Germany and France,” said Andreas Bodczek, CEO of IDnow. “With Corsair’s increased investment, we are poised to accelerate our innovation and expand our platform to meet evolving industry needs.”

Corsair Capital initially invested in IDnow in 2019, acquiring a minority stake to support the company’s expansion. The latest investment underscores the firm’s confidence in IDnow’s growth strategy.

“We are excited to deepen our partnership with IDnow,” said Raja Hadji-Touma and Edward Wertheim, partners at Corsair Capital. “Since our initial investment, IDnow has demonstrated impressive growth and innovation. This acquisition positions the company for its next phase of expansion.”

With Corsair’s backing, IDnow plans to scale its identity verification solutions across Europe, reinforcing its position as a leader in secure digital authentication services.
