Corsaire Aviation Adds First Executive Jet to Fleet

Corsaire Aviation Charters, an established aviation services provider based at Perth Jandakot Airport in Western Australia, has expanded its portfolio with the induction of a Citation Bravo, marking the addition of its first executive jet to its CASR Part 119 Air Operator’s Certificate (AOC). According to ch-aviation research, the 25.4-year-old Cessna Citation Bravo, registered as VH-ZLT (msn 550-0878), officially moved under Corsaire Aviation Charters’ certificate in October 2024. The move signifies a strategic step forward for the company, known primarily for its rotary-wing and limited fixed-wing operations, as it diversifies its offerings to meet growing market demands for premium air travel.

Before its transition to Corsaire Aviation Charters, VH-ZLT was operated under the CASR Part 119 AOC of Revesco Aviation, another Australian aviation company. For more than a decade—since 2013—Revesco Aviation had been the registered operator of the Citation Bravo, making it the last of its type in their fleet. Interestingly, although the aircraft is now listed under Corsaire Aviation Charters’ certificate, the company’s website notes that charter flights on the Citation Bravo are still conducted under Revesco Aviation’s AOC. This detail suggests that the two companies may be collaborating on operational logistics, a strategic approach that could streamline the transition and ensure continuity in service offerings.

The Citation Bravo is a light business jet widely regarded for its versatility, range, and efficient operation. Equipped with reliable turbofan engines, it offers a balanced combination of comfort and performance. For Corsaire Aviation Charters, the introduction of this executive jet provides an opportunity to expand beyond its existing fixed-wing fleet—which has, until now, included only one Cessna 210R and four Cessna 441s—and into the lucrative sphere of high-end corporate and VIP air travel. By offering an executive jet option, the company can now cater to clients seeking greater speed, comfort, and convenience for medium-range flights, potentially opening up new business opportunities both domestically and in neighboring regions.

Corsaire Aviation Charters’ operations extend beyond fixed-wing aircraft. In fact, the company also holds a separate CASR Part 119 AOC dedicated to its rotary-wing services. This segment of the fleet includes 11 helicopters, making Corsaire one of the more versatile aviation providers in Western Australia. The addition of the Citation Bravo should help broaden the company’s appeal, attracting customers who prefer the speed and comfort of a jet while maintaining the flexibility of helicopter services for specialized missions such as scenic tours, business shuttle operations, and emergency response flights.

As for Revesco Aviation, the transfer of VH-ZLT to Corsaire Aviation Charters marks a slight reshuffle in a robust fleet that now boasts six business jets. Revesco Aviation’s inventory includes a Citation Sovereign+, a Citation Ultra, a Gulfstream GIV-SP, a Hawker 850XP, a Phenom 300, and a Phenom 300E. Beyond these jets, Revesco also operates a Diamond DA-42 NG and a King Air B200, ensuring a wide range of capabilities that span from advanced training platforms to efficient turboprops suited for regional operations.

The collaboration between Corsaire Aviation Charters and Revesco Aviation—evident in the shared operational details of the Citation Bravo—reflects a broader trend in the Australian aviation industry, where partnerships allow for leveraging each company’s strengths. As Corsaire Aviation Charters integrates its first executive jet into its service offerings, it stands poised to capitalize on expanding market opportunities, catering to high-end travelers and corporate clients who value speed, flexibility, and premium service. In an environment where passengers increasingly seek tailored travel solutions, the Citation Bravo’s arrival signals a promising new chapter for Corsaire Aviation Charters as it navigates this competitive, dynamic landscape.
