Crystal has announced a significant restructuring of its North American trade reservations operations by relocating the team to its Miami headquarters, reflecting a strategic move to enhance service levels and operational efficiency. The company also maintains localized teams in London and Melbourne, emphasizing its commitment to a global presence.

Mary-Beth Meadowcroft, Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Reservations at Crystal, highlighted the rationale behind the decision: “Bringing our trade reservations team in-house is a strategic move that underscores our commitment to providing the highest level of service to our travel partners and guests. By centralizing our operations, we can ensure more consistent, efficient, and personalized support which is crucial for fostering strong relationships and delivering the exceptional experiences that Crystal is known for.”

In conjunction with the relocation, Crystal has expanded its global trade sales team, introducing new business development specialists across several key regions. This expansion is part of Crystal’s broader strategy to enhance its sales capabilities and support for travel advisors worldwide.

The company has also announced several key appointments to bolster its leadership in strategic markets:

  • Margaret Thwaites joins as the new Southeast Regional Sales Director in North America.
  • Stephen Joyner has been promoted to Senior Sales Manager for the United Kingdom and Ireland.
  • Giorgio Costa steps in as the new Regional Sales Manager for Europe.
  • Evon Ler has been appointed as the new Sales Director for the Asia-Pacific region.
