Cunard is celebrating a significant rise in bookings following the launch of its 2027-28 cruise itineraries. The luxury cruise line reported a 55% increase in nights booked during the first week of sales compared to the same period for its 2026 season launch.

Strong demand is being driven by travelers in both the United Kingdom and North America. UK bookings surged nearly 50%, while North America saw a remarkable 100% increase in reservations. Luxury accommodations are proving especially popular, with Queens Grill and Princess Grill suite bookings more than doubling year-over-year.

Queen Mary 2’s iconic Transatlantic Crossings continue to attract high interest, further fueling the booking momentum.

Cunard’s 2027-28 program features 195 new voyages departing between April 2027 and January 2028. The itineraries cover 115 destinations across 32 countries, including visits to 93 UNESCO World Heritage sites. The season also includes 18 overnight port calls and 33 late-evening departures, offering guests more time to explore key destinations.

“We’re delighted with the response to our 2027 launch,” said Katie McAlister, president of Cunard. “It’s wonderful to see so many guests choosing to sail with us. The rise in bookings highlights the continued demand for the Cunard experience.”

McAlister added that demand for the line’s Queens Grill and Princess Grill suites has been especially strong, underscoring a global trend toward premium travel experiences focused on space, service, and attention to detail. Cunard continues to position itself as a leader in luxury cruising worldwide.
