Cvent and Sabre Collaborate to Integrate Group Booking Tools

Meetings technology company Cvent has integrated its Instant Book service and Passkey room-block management tool with Sabre’s SynXis central reservation system to “streamline group booking capabilities,”the companies announced Monday.

Guest room booking for meetings at participating properties through Instant Book will be “readily available if the hotel uses SynXis,” a Cvent spokesperson told BTN. However, the ability to book meeting space is dependent on the individual properties’ sales and catering system, the spokesperson said.

The integration “expands our platform functionality in a way that benefits both the hotelier and the event organizer,” Cvent VP of sales Janine Alsalam said in a statement.
