Dan Air Continues to Connect Nuremberg and Brasov Through Winter Season
Dan Air, the Romanian low-cost carrier, has announced its commitment to maintaining its recently introduced route between Nuremberg and Brasov throughout the winter season of 2023/24. This move ensures that passengers can continue to enjoy convenient air travel between these two vibrant cities.
Launched in June 2023, the Nuremberg-Brasov route has been well-received, offering travelers a direct link between these two key destinations. Operating twice a week, on Mondays and Saturdays, this service facilitates both business and leisure travel.
Nuremberg, the second-largest city in Bavaria, Germany, boasts rich cultural heritage and significant economic activity. Renowned for its medieval architecture, historic landmarks, and iconic Christmas market, Nuremberg is a city teeming with cultural treasures. Nuremberg Airport (NUE) serves as a crucial gateway, accommodating over 4 million passengers annually.
In contrast, Brasov, located in the heart of Transylvania, Romania, is a charming and sought-after tourist destination. Distinguished by its Gothic churches, Baroque-style buildings, and picturesque surroundings, Brasov has much to offer visitors. The recently inaugurated Brasov Airport (GHV), opened in May 2023, plays a vital role in enhancing accessibility to the region and promoting its development.
Travelers embarking on the Nuremberg-Brasov journey can expect a seamless experience. Departing from NUE at 10:00 a.m., the flight touches down at GHV at 1:00 p.m. local time. The return leg departs from GHV at 1:30 p.m., arriving at NUE at 2:30 p.m. local time. Passengers will travel aboard an Airbus A320 aircraft configured to accommodate up to 180 travelers in a single-class configuration.
Dan Air’s CEO, Matt Ian David, expressed satisfaction with the route’s performance and anticipates strong demand throughout the winter season. He emphasized the airline’s commitment to providing competitive fares and high-quality service to customers traveling on this route.
