Dassault Unveils Falcon 10X Long-Range Business Jet

Dassault Aviation has unveiled its latest flagship aircraft, the Falcon 10X, marking a significant step in the competition for the ultra-long-range business jet market. The French planemaker introduced the aircraft as it looks to challenge North American rivals at the top end of the luxury aviation segment.
The Falcon 10X is designed to set new benchmarks in range, comfort, and cabin innovation. With a projected range of approximately 7,500 nautical miles, the aircraft will be capable of connecting major global city pairs such as New York to Shanghai or Paris to Los Angeles nonstop. This extended range positions the jet among the most capable business aircraft currently in development.
A key highlight of the Falcon 10X is its spacious cabin, which is expected to be the largest in its class. Dassault has focused heavily on passenger comfort, incorporating a wide cross-section that allows for multiple living areas, including dedicated zones for dining, working, and relaxation. The aircraft will also feature large windows, enhanced natural lighting, and advanced cabin pressurization to reduce fatigue on long-haul flights.
The jet is powered by Rolls-Royce Pearl 10X engines, delivering improved fuel efficiency and lower emissions compared to previous-generation business jets. Dassault has also integrated advanced fly-by-wire controls, drawing on technology developed for its military aircraft programs, to enhance safety, handling, and overall performance.
In terms of technology, the Falcon 10X will feature a next-generation flight deck with state-of-the-art avionics and connectivity systems. Pilots will benefit from improved situational awareness and automation, while passengers can expect seamless high-speed internet and modern in-flight entertainment options.
Dassault’s entry into this segment intensifies competition with leading manufacturers such as Gulfstream and Bombardier, both of which have recently introduced their own ultra-long-range jets. The Falcon 10X is positioned to compete directly with aircraft like the Gulfstream G700 and Bombardier Global 8000, offering a combination of range, efficiency, and cabin comfort.
The unveiling underscores Dassault Aviation’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the premium business aviation market. As demand for long-range private travel continues to grow among high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients, the Falcon 10X is expected to play a key role in the company’s future growth.
Entry into service is anticipated later this decade, with the aircraft already generating strong interest from customers seeking next-generation performance and luxury in business aviation.
