Data suggest rebound in Hawaiian tourism

Several indicators suggest that Hawaiian tourism is recovering, with STR noting that hotel occupancy rose to 43% in March compared with just 23% in January. Meanwhile, Hawaiian Airlines has added multiple new routes recently, and data from Safe Travels Hawaii shows that as many as 396,949 visitors were screened during the first 20 days of April.
