DavisAir Boosts Charter Fleet with First Citation XLS

DavisAir, operating out of Charleston International, has strategically enhanced its Part 135-certified fleet by adding a first Citation XLS, marking a significant expansion of its aircraft offerings. The company recently confirmed to ch-aviation the inclusion of this new jet, registered as N936EA (msn 560-5670), which is an 18.1-year-old aircraft formerly part of the Precision Aircraft Management fleet.
Previously, under Precision Aircraft Management, this Citation XLS was configured to accommodate up to nine passengers, making it an ideal addition for DavisAir’s charter services. Precision Aircraft Management still retains one more unit of the Citation XLS type in its fleet, underscoring the model’s popularity and functionality in private aviation.
The newly acquired Citation XLS joins a diverse array of aircraft in DavisAir’s lineup, including two Citation Excel jets, a Citation II, a Citation Jet, and a Citation Jet 2. In addition to these, a Beech 58 Baron was also added to the fleet in November, further diversifying the company’s charter service capabilities.
This expansion reflects DavisAir’s commitment to providing a broad range of aviation solutions to its clients, catering to varying passenger needs and preferences. The addition of the Citation XLS is particularly notable for its balance of range, speed, and comfort, making it a valuable asset for both short and long-haul journeys.
With this fleet enhancement, DavisAir aims to strengthen its market position by offering more versatile and competitive services. The company’s focus remains on ensuring high-quality service and reliability, essential attributes for attracting both corporate and leisure travelers in the increasingly competitive charter flight market.
