DC Aviation Adds Two Citation XLS Gen2 Jets

DC Aviation, based at Stuttgart Manfred Rommel Airport, has expanded its fleet with the addition of two Citation XLS Gen2 jets in December 2024. The aircraft, D-CIAI (msn 560-6366) and D-CIBI (msn 560-6367), were ferried from Wichita Eisenhower to Stuttgart, with stops in Québec, Goose Bay, and Reykjavik Keflavik between December 13-16, 2024.
The German operator’s fleet already includes six Citation XLS+ jets, solidifying its strong partnership with Textron Aviation. However, other divisions within the DC Aviation Group do not operate Textron-manufactured aircraft.
In addition to this acquisition, DC Aviation is preparing to introduce a second Falcon 2000LXS, leased from IC Leasing, by the second quarter of 2025. This aircraft will also be based in Stuttgart, increasing the total number of Dassault Aviation jets within the group to six. The fleet already includes a Falcon 900DX, a Falcon 2000, and another Falcon 2000LXS. DC Aviation’s global divisions manage additional Falcon jets, including a Falcon 6X in San Marino and a Falcon 7X registered in the Isle of Man by DC Aviation Al-Futtaim.
DC Aviation Group operates a diverse fleet comprising Airbus Corporate Jets, Bombardier Business Aircraft, Embraer Executive Jets, Gulfstream Aerospace, and Pilatus Aircraft units. The German operator is also poised to become the launch customer for the Gulfstream G400, further demonstrating its commitment to fleet modernization and growth.
