Deadline extended for air cargo sustainability awards
The deadline to submit entries to the fourth edition of TIACA’s Air Cargo Sustainability Awards has been extended to September 12.
The competition aims to recognise “outstanding businesses and industry initiatives leading the way to a more sustainable air cargo industry”.
The awards are divided into two categories: The Start-Up and Small Business Prize, where the winner will take home $10,000 and two runners up $2,500 each; and the Corporate Prize which will recognise an established corporation, an international organisation or a scholar with a long-standing presence in the cargo community.
“To date, we have received many quality applications for this year’s awards and we look forward to receiving additional applications during this extended period, in particular, I urge start-up enterprises to submit and to use the awards programmes as a springboard to promote their creative innovations and solutions,” said Glyn Hughes, director general chairman, TIACA.
