Deem Updates Etta Booking Website
Deem this summer will launch a new version of its Etta booking website, which will include more flexible shopping options, a mobile-friendly design and enhanced carbon emissions data, the company announced.
Among the new site features is a shopping cart styled after popular e-commerce sites with which travelers can choose flights, hotels and rental cars in any order they choose and then check out when ready, according to Deem. The new site also is designed to reform automatically when being used on a mobile platform for optimal use on that platform, according to the company.
In addition, the new site includes the EcoCheck data, already available in Etta’s mobile app, which shows carbon emissions data, hotel scores and contextual information during the booking process. The site also has added accessibility features already in the app that meet guidelines developed by the Worldwide Web Consortium Web Accessibility Initiative.
The new site already is accessible to Deem’s early access customers via a toggle button on the site and Deem will enable the new software for all sites this summer, according to the company.
