Vasco Ventures, a Brooklyn-based investment firm, has purchased a once-popular and long-shuttered hotel and catering hall in Slate Hill, N.Y. Plans were not immediately disclosed for the Catlin Gardens property, which reported sold for $2.9 million with an asking price of $4 million.
