Delays force late opening of Dallas Love Field runway

Delays caused by weather and the pandemic have set back the planned opening of Dallas Love Field’s second runway to June, although the airport is working with contractors to try to move up the date, if possible, officials said. The longer runway will be complete before more improvements to several taxiways are finished sometime in December.
