Delta, Air Canada charters bring athletes to Olympics

With commercial air travel limited by pandemic restrictions, Delta Air Lines and Air Canada are flying athletes to the winter Olympics in Beijing on charter flights. “No one has ever carried this much of a contingent to the Games on one flight,” said Anthony Black, a spokesman for Delta, the official airline of Team USA, which will bring them to China Jan. 27 on an Airbus SE A350.
