Delta Air Lines (DL, Atlanta Hartsfield Jackson) has revealed in its annual report that it deferred the deliveries of its first A321-200Ns, initially due in 2020, to 2022. The carrier has a total of 100 A321neo on firm order from Airbus. According to the updated schedule, it now plans to take the first 18 in 2022, a further 20 in 2023, and the remainder in 2024 and later. Delta Air Lines has not ordered any other A320neo Family aircraft. Before it starts taking the A321neo in 2022, it plans to add its last twenty-two A321-200s in 2021 (four of which have already been delivered to the carrier since the beginning of the year). Once the A321-200 order is wrapped up, Delta will have a total of 127 units of the type in its fleet. Its A320ceo Family fleet also comprises fifty-seven A319-100s and sixty-two A320-200s, the ch-aviation fleets advanced module shows. Following the deferral of the A321-200N deliveries, Delta plans to add three A220-100s (two already delivered), five A220-300s (one delivered), twenty-two A321-200s (four delivered), three A330-900s, and one CRJ900 in 2021.
