Delta Air Lines, the largest airline in the United States, is set to enhance its in-flight wine program with the addition of 17 premium wines this fall. These new wine offerings will be available to passengers in all main cabin and higher fare classes, further enriching Delta’s renowned onboard offerings. The airline collaborated with master sommelier Andrea Robinson, a world-renowned expert, to curate a wine selection that is both elevated and diverse.

These new wines were meticulously chosen from a pool of contenders following a comprehensive vetting process that considered various factors including quality, taste, sustainability, and diversity. The final selection includes wines sourced from organic, carbon-neutral, and women-run wineries, as well as wines representing underrepresented regions and varietals.

Among the standout wines in Delta’s autumn rotation are the Famille Perrin Chateauneuf-du-Pape, an organic red wine from a five-generation family winery, and the Bodegas Ontañón Tempranillo Blanco, a Spanish Rioja produced by a carbon-neutral winery.

Kristen Manion Taylor, Senior Vice President of In-Flight Service at Delta Air Lines, emphasized the airline’s commitment to selecting and promoting brands that align with its values and reflect the diverse communities it serves. The chosen wine brands are not only known for their exceptional quality but also for their commitment to sustainability practices.

Delta Air Lines has a well-established reputation for its industry-leading in-flight wine program, which has received numerous awards and accolades. The airline regularly rotates its wine menu to ensure freshness and variety, offering passengers a diverse array of choices to suit their preferences. Additionally, Delta provides printed menus with detailed information about each wine, including its origin, flavor profile, and recommended food pairings.

This enhancement to the in-flight wine program is part of Delta’s ongoing efforts to provide a superior travel experience for its passengers, offering a touch of luxury and sophistication at 30,000 feet.
