Delta Air Lines Expands Winter 2024 Flight Offerings to California and Seattle
Delta Air Lines is set to enhance its flight network for the winter 2024 season, with additional routes to popular California destinations and a new route to Seattle. The Atlanta-based carrier recently unveiled its plans to launch or resume services to three California cities from its Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport hub, including Burbank, Santa Barbara, and Fresno. Moreover, Delta will inaugurate flights between Dallas-Fort Worth and Seattle, further expanding its service options.
According to Delta, these new and reinstated flights are scheduled to commence in June and July 2024, and they will be open for booking starting on Saturday, September 16. The airline’s decision to expand routes is in response to customer demand for outdoor-oriented destinations, such as Yosemite National Park, Sequoia National Park, Lake Tahoe, and Aspen.
The newly introduced flights from Atlanta to Fresno and Santa Barbara will operate on a daily basis, while the Dallas to Seattle route will offer two daily flights. Delta will also resume daily flights from Atlanta to Burbank, Oakland, and Reno. Furthermore, Delta plans to extend its service to Aspen from both Atlanta and Los Angeles, making it a year-round offering, and it will increase the frequency of flights to Colorado Springs, El Paso, and Sacramento from Atlanta.
Delta intends to utilize a combination of mainline aircraft for these new and expanded flights, including the Boeing 737-800, 737-900, 757-200, Airbus A220-300, and A321. The airline is committed to providing its customers with personalized, attentive service, ensuring reliability and convenience on these routes.
