Delta Air Lines is temporarily adjusting its domestic cargo capacity
Delta Cargo is temporarily adjusting domestic capacity to “ensure that we can meet” customer service performance expectations.
The company said it will be “paring capacity” effective January 17 to February 15 during certain times of the day on narrowbody flights in key domestic hub operations.
International flights and domestic widebody flights will not be impacted, according to Delta Cargo.
“We are confident that the capacity we will have available over the next few weeks will serve your shipping needs, and our goal is to minimise the impact on your business,” the company said.
In December, Rob Walpole, vice president at Delta Cargo, said the company was on track for its best year ever with record revenues set to exceed $1bn. He said the company has created a fleet plan that foresees additional widebody capacity being added in the next years.
